Trademark registration cost in Iran
Estimate the cost of filing your trademark in Iran in seconds. Change the number of classes or the type of mark and the breakdown updates instantly.
How a trademark estimate is built
The biggest single factor is the number of classes. Iran uses the Nice Classification, which groups goods and services into 45 classes, and both the official fees and the work involved grow with each class you add. A clothing brand that also runs an online shop, for example, will usually need Class 25 for the garments and Class 35 for the retail services.
The second factor is the form of the mark. A plain word mark is the simplest to file. A logo or a combined word-and-logo mark needs a clean representation of the artwork, which we prepare to the filing specifications.
Every application is filed in Persian, so the list of goods and services has to be translated. We charge translation per class, because the length of the list follows the classes you choose.
Optional services
Comprehensive search. Strongly recommended before filing. It reveals earlier marks that could block your application or lead to a dispute, while there is still time to adjust the mark or the specification.
Opposition handling. After publication, third parties may oppose an application. Adding this option budgets for our work if that happens; if nobody opposes, it is not charged.
The online search discount
If you have used our instant check, tick the discount box (or follow the quote button from your search results) and the calculator reduces our professional fees by the stated percentage. Official fees and translation are not discounted.
Common questions
How many classes do I need?
As many as your goods and services cover. Use the instant check: describe what you sell and it suggests the classes that apply. Our team confirms the final selection before filing.
Are the official fees in this estimate exact?
They are estimates based on our current schedule. Official fees can change, so the written quote confirms the figures that apply when we file.
Does the estimate include renewal?
No. The calculator covers filing through to registration for a straightforward application. Renewal, recordals and disputes are quoted separately.
Can I file a logo and a word mark together?
You can file a combined mark, or file the word and the logo separately for broader protection. Filing them separately means two applications, so ask us which approach suits your brand.
